Another Great Find

I love it when I go download my photos from off my camera because I almost always find a self shot video of Miya.  One of her favorite shows is "i Carly" and I'm really thinking that it's rubbing off on her.  She really loves to be in front of the camera, so here is the "Public Service Announcement" by Miya Allred:

Fun Weekend with Baba and Hi-Baba

My Mom (Baba) and Grandma (Hi-Baba) came to visit for the weekend.  We had a lot of fun going to Japan town for the Cherry Blossom Festival, eating home made sushi, and just hanging out.  Here are some photos from our weekend...

It has been about 15 years since my grandma moved to the states and it has been about 15 years since she rode on a train, so she was pretty stoked to ride the Bart to San Francisco.

Fun Hello Kitty characters were at the festival...Emi was once again freaked out by the huge characters, but Miya was loving it.

We ate lots of yummy Japanese food and some sweets too.

These girls!

So...I went to download some pictures onto my computer and found this silly video Miya took of herself.  She is always surprising me!  I guess that one of the joys of being a mom.

Ahhh!  Now we know who has been breaking all the crayons...thanks to Miya's camera work!

Weekend with some ol' friends

TRAM and the families got together this weekend (this all started back in Hawaii before kids).  The boys stayed in SF for a night getaway while the wives and kids hung out at the Beesley's for dinner.
It's crazy to think that about 4 years ago we used to be able to get together and play Mafia and board games and have conversations without interruptions, but now look at these beautiful kids!

DA BOYZ!

It was fun!

Crazy Eyes Miya

One of the best things about being a mom is seeing my girls grow and learn new talents.  Here's a pic. and video footage of Miya's new talent...I like to call her "Crazy Eyes".

She's even practicing on the toilet!
