I am grateful for...

MY FAMILY!
With Thanksgiving coming up I'd like to try and post everyday something I am really grateful for. There are so many things I'm grateful for, but my own family is definitely one of the top things I am most grateful.

I love my silly girls in this photo. They are always trying to make me laugh.

Emi is so silly with her purses and backpacks. She has to have one or the other when ever we go out. I love that she loves to snuggle all the time too.

Miya is the sweetest girl. She is always trying to make our family happy whether it be hugs or picking things up around the house.
Mason is an amazing father and husband. I'm grateful how he teaches our girls with love and patience. I love his spontaneity, like when he makes me breakfast in bed for no reason and his persistence on keeping me happy.
I love my family!

Things we've been up to

The other night I was so tired and didn't feel up to making dinner or cleaning up the house, so my sweet daughters decided to help out.

Emi did the dishes...she actually loves doing the dishes and does a pretty great job.

Miya made dinner. Miya has learned how to make a few things thanks to her cooking class in Kindergarten. Miya made grilled cheese sandwiches and salad.

We went to our ward Halloween Party on Friday and met up with some of our favorite little friends. They're all growing up so much!

100 points to who can guess who Mason and I are.

Emi at gymnastics with her friend who follows her everywhere she goes.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Last night a whole bunch of us girls got dressed up 80's style and went to the "Tainted Love" concert in S.F. to celebrate our hot friend Kelly's birthday. Happy Birthday Kelly!

Kelly teasing her hair after dinner. What great volume!

Jen and Me driving in the back seat of Marianna's car.

Girls just wanna have fun! Dancing to the club.

Here's the whole crew! I love all the outfits!

Karen's outfit was so RAD! The fact that she can have her baby any day now, but still decided to come rock it with the girls made my night!

This one's for you Mark...Kelly lookin' like an uptown girl.

Just having some fun while waiting for "Tainted Love"

Robyn, Melissa, and Kelli strikin' a pose.

Jena, Molly, and Ali just bein' material girls.

New Hair Cuts

I gave Miya and Emi hair cuts on Sat. Well, it started off with just trimming Emi's hair then Miya insisted that I cut her hair short like Emi's too. I was really hesitant to cut Miya's long beautiful hair, but I remembered being young and wanted to cut my hair short too, but my mom wouldn't let me. After all, kid's hair seems to grow at an extremely fast rate, so I cut Miya's hair. Here are some pictures to prove it.

Emi's doesn't really look different, but....

It's a little uneven bob!

I love my girls!

I love my girls! I'm in one of those moods where I'm just grateful to be a mom. I feel like I have 2 of the most beautiful, silly, and talented kids.
I really love how they always try to make me laugh!
I love how much they care about each other and take care of each other (and me).
Motherhood is really something amazing. Seeing my girls grow and learn really does bring me so much joy.

Our Weekend

Last week we went to Moraga to visit our friends Anna and her 2 girls Cathy and Greta.

Miya, Emi, and Cathy hanging out on the monkey bars.

Emi, Miya, and Cathy posing on a bridge

Cathy taught Miya how to climb this tree.

Every Friday before a football game, Mason and I take Emi to the pep rally to see the band play and the Dancers dance. Too bad Cal's football team didn't pull through on Saturday vs. USC. Go Trojans!

Miya at the Stanford vs Cal Soccor game.

Emi at the Soccor game...Go Bears! Final score Cal:1 Stanford:0

Climbing a tree after the soccer game. Miya's favorite thing to do.

Sat. we met up with the Beesley's in Oakland at this beautiful Rose garden. (Yes, Emi is wearing the same dress...when she finds something she likes she'll wear it everyday)

Then, we went to Fenton's for dinner and ice cream...yummo!

Sunday, we enjoyed watching 2 sessions of General Conference (Jeffery R. Holland's testimony was on fire!) and we went to a baby shower for a lady in Mason's German department. Fun filled weekend! I wonder what we should do next weekend? Any suggestions?
