Christmas Week at Disneyland
This past week we were hanging out in Southern California. Our trip started off on the 19th. We first drove to San Diego and hung out with Matt and Kendra and their family. We celebrated Kendra's mom's birthday with some Pat and Oscars and just chillaxed at their pad. The next day we drove up to HB to visit our buddies, the Baltzer's. The girls had fun playing with their 3 boys and helping take care of baby Dane. Then on Monday we drove to Disneyland where we met up with all of Mason's family and spent a week at "The Happiest Place on Earth". We had so much fun being together as a family. After a wonderful week of fun and games, we then drove down to Irvine and meet up with all of my family for some Japanese food, hanging out and Chili's. Thanks to everyone who supported us on this fun family trip and for all the yummy food. We had so much fun and really hate coming back to reality. Love ya all and I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and has a Happy New Year!

Hey Wha' Happened?
So, I was on a roll with blogging for a little bit there, but honestly I was doing it to see if more people would check out what I posted. Didn't happen, but I'm still here (mostly for my best friend Megan, who always seems to care what I've been up to. Thanks girlfriend! Holla!). Anyways, it has been a crazy week last week with getting sick and blah blah blah...I just didn't have time to blog.
This week's agenda:
-get ready for our trip to So. Cal.
-make sure I've got all Christmas presents covered
-take a family photo, or at least one of the kids to email a Christmas card to everyone (too late to print and mail)
-finish knitting project (and take a picture and post it so everyone believes me)
In the meantime, let this photo inspire you...j/k! This was taken in April, I want to get my abs back, but that'll have to wait till after the holidays.

Can't wait for Christmas!
I feel like a little kid when Christmas comes around. I want to buy everything and give everyone gifts. I love having the Christmas tree lit up all day long and I want to make and eat cookies with a nice hot cup of hot cocoa. I want to be with all my family and sing Christmas music. I want to dress my kids up and make them do the nativity and read the story of Christ's birth. What a wonderful time of year!
I also want to decorate my apt. with these cute trees from UO.

Not only the Holiday....
So, not only do holidays throw me off eating clean, but so do my monthly cramps (sorry that might be too much info.) We'll all have our ups and downs when our bodies start craving for something sweet. Usually a piece of fruit can satisfy my sweet tooth, but not around that time of month. So, what do I do? I indulge and then move on. I'll finish off the pumpkin pie in my fridge and eat the bag of peanut M&M's that I found in my pantry and then cry because I can't find anything else that's chocolate, THEN move on (true story from today). I think having someone or something to motivate yourself can help get yourself back on track. I like looking at bodybuilding.com or JamieEason.com. This is Jamie Eason, who's a fitness model. I don't think I'll necessarily ever get my body to look like hers, but I do feel like I can get close. Her website has great advise and workouts. That's where I get most of my stuff from.

Eating and Working Out
Holidays always throw me off my regimen of working out everyday and eating somewhat healthy. I made a huge Thanksgiving dinner which resulted in tons of leftover. We ate leftovers 3 days straight (plus lots of eggnog, pumpkin pie, ice cream and brownies) and now I'm really paying for it. I should have just thrown it all away, but I'm not one to waste food especially if it took me 8 hours to make it. Anyways, here's my routine for the next few weeks till Christmas (then during Christmas break I'm going to undo all the hard work that I'm going to put into these next few weeks and the cycle continues until I decide to really get serious.) I'd post more before and after photos, but maybe I'll just post an after photo to save myself some embarrassment.
