Training for a marathon

So it has been almost a month since I've last blogged and I think everyone who checks in is pretty sick of Jane running. Anyways, this entry will not be any fun, but I just want the world to know that I am training for my first marathon, the St. George marathon, that way I won't give up with my training. Today I ran 11.5 miles. I really need to figure out places to run around here in Vegas. I'm also having a hard time adjusting to this heat and elevation, but I figured it will help me in the long run. I really miss running by the beach in Hawaii with my buddy Megan, and I miss running by the Bay with my friend Rachel. It seems like the air is just easier to breath next to the water and time goes by fast when you're running with someone. Well, I will try and everyone updated with my running, not that it's really exciting, but it feels cool to run long distances.

I think this is really cool, what a great little map, it's so cute! But I totally support you sista in your marathon running...[sips from diet coke and eats a bite of ice cream] I mean, you have my total and complete support. : )

GO Erica! Are you training with a buddy? If not I feel for you my friend. Maybe we can pretend that we are running together, that probably won't do you any good, but I know it would inspire me to keep up and be consistent if I though I was running with you. Hope that does not sound like I am a crazy person.
