For FHE tonight we carved our $1 pumpkins that we got at the Village pumpkin sale. We teamed up...the girls drew the faces and Mase and I did the carving.

i think that's such a good tradition you have. that one where the girls draw the faces, you carve. you did that last year right?
cute and good idea, I might need to steal that and do that with the kids...of course pumpkins are super expensive right now, so maybe I lied.
Yup, we did this last year too...Miya seemed to have really enjoyed it, so I think we'll continue this until they're old enough to carve themselves.

I love carving pumpkins! There's nothing like a great FHE activity to pull the family together. When I was still in high school my mom had a jack-o-lantern song that we would sing as we carved our pumpkins.
That is adorable! I wish that we would've done that, but there is always next year! I miss you, Erika! I love you!
