Fun Filled Weekend

On Friday we went to China Beach again...
Posing again with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Girls building a sand castle.

Saturday:
We started our morning off with a 2 hour hike through the Berkeley Hills with our ward.

We climbed 302 steps throughout the whole hike (Miya actually walked up most of them)

Then...We went to Stinson Beach.
It was a lot longer of a drive than we were expecting.  The drive was beautiful, but it was full of windy roads, so Miya got car sick on the way up and Emi got sick and threw up on the way home.  Besides the drive, it was a fun trip and we enjoyed playing in the freezing cold water.

The view from the drive.

Miya running to get water for the sand castle.

Man . . . is it still so warm that you can go to the beach? It sounds like a fun weekend . . . minus the car sickness.

I miss Cali and you guys! And together, I must say, you both are a good match for each other! Did you guys head up HWY 1? Still need to head up to Gualala. It is SOOOOOO beautiful there. But, the drive is terrible! Miss you, maluffa Erika!

I love watching the girls play in the water! They are such little troopers! Unbelievable how they don't even mind the cold! As for the long drive, at least the girls balanced it out...one should throw up on the way to, and the other should throw up on the way back...that just makes perfect zen to me! Seriously, though, can't wait to see everybody soon! We miss you soooo much! And I'm even gonna take care of the little Seinfeld problem that I have in your bedroom...it seems that my outside lamp-post light shines right in your bedroom window! A lot like Kramer's experience with the Red Chicken Sign across the street!! Heh-heh. But that's why black posterboard was invented, right! Love you guys:)
