Fun Weekend with Baba and Hi-Baba

My Mom (Baba) and Grandma (Hi-Baba) came to visit for the weekend.  We had a lot of fun going to Japan town for the Cherry Blossom Festival, eating home made sushi, and just hanging out.  Here are some photos from our weekend...

It has been about 15 years since my grandma moved to the states and it has been about 15 years since she rode on a train, so she was pretty stoked to ride the Bart to San Francisco.

Fun Hello Kitty characters were at the festival...Emi was once again freaked out by the huge characters, but Miya was loving it.

We ate lots of yummy Japanese food and some sweets too.

My beautiful Grandma in front of some Japanese shrine or something.

Awesome, Erika! Your mom and grandma are so gorgeous! Runs in the family! That festival looks so fun. I'm not even sure I knew there was a "Japan town" in San Fran. Huh, you learn something new everyday.

So, where is the fountain of youth located that your mom and Hi-Baba drink from? (I know, I know, never end a sentence in a preposition, right?) Seriously, they are forever young and fun. How Fabulous that you guys were able to have a special visit and yeah...I never knew there was Japan town in San Fran, either...I thought it was only Chinatown...this is great information! Enjoy. See ya all real soon. :)
