Today was an exciting day for us because Miya started Kindergarten. She was super excited. She woke up at 5 am and wanted to leave for school. She packed her lunch all by herself, got her backpack ready, she wanted me to curl her hair and she even picked out her outfit the night before. I was actually surprised how excited she was for school.

She wasn't so excited anymore when they asked the parents to move to the back and the students to line up.
Miya's Teacher saw her hesitation and was nice enough to hold her hand and bring her to the front of the line.

Off she goes to her class holding hands with Ms. Jeannie. I was fighting back some tears. Is she really old enough to go to school already?

Great photos! Go Miya! I talked to David and he said Adam and Amy have it this weekend...but they're leaving the end of the month, so I'm sure anytime after that, it's yours! Sorry my reception sucks, but we'll catch up later! Miya is beautiful. I love her.

Oh yeah, I feel ya on that one. I always did great until I actually looked through the camera at the little person suddenly going out into the world on their own...wowwee, I could choke up right now! You are a wonderful mommy...love, love, love those little girls! And Miya did great, too!

I can't believe it, I was just really quickly catching up on your posts and the picture of Miya actually made me suddenly cry! She looks so sweet, and Mason's hand on her face, oh my. Too sweet.
