A Festive Day

The girls have been out of school for autumn/oktober vacation, so last Wednesday (the official German Independence Day) we did some more exploring and checked out some old churches, Alexanderplatz, and once again the Zoo.
The ornate details in the Berliner Kirchen was crazy amazing!

Everything from the outside of the church to the pulpit was amazingly beautiful.  I couldn't imagine going to church there every sunday.

I love Alexaderplatz, it almost feels surreal being there a mist all the beautiful architecture.  I just want to sit and eat at all the little cafes which are at every corner.

Another beautiful church we stopped by to pay our respects. Peace!

The Berlin Zoo has this huge playground that is prefect for the kids to get out their extra energy before we head home. We even seem to spot a new animal that we haven't seen before, like an American Bald Eagle…Really?!  Is it legal to have these captive? Either way, it was gorgeous to see up close and in person.

I'm really bad at uploading these pictures in order, but we started the day by checking out this cute little festival at Alexander Platz to partake in their delicious waffles, Brats, and treats.
I've gotta learn to take better pictures, these just don't do these places justice.
