Halloween and Hertha

Emi the Zombie

Miya the Vampire

Emi, Miya, and Miya's friends from school (Tram Ahn and Lilo)

Ruka was there too, as Kevin Mcallister.
The girls had so much fun. They went from store, restaurant, cafe to the next asking in unison "süßes oder saures," (something sweet or something sour). It was crazy how people had stuff ready or just gave each kid a whole pastry, an ice cream cone, balloons, money, roses from the florist and of course lots of candy. Ruka loved it too but was pretty set with the ice cream cone.

Our first time at the Olympia Stadium to watch Berlin's soccer team Hertha. The stadium is so impressively beautiful. This is where Jessie Owens stuck it to the Nazi hopefuls in 1936 and Leni Riefenstahl made the amazing 2 part film Olympia. Now it is a great mixture of neoclassical architecture with a modernized interior. It was awesome to watch the team so close, they had a lot great shots on goal. The only downside was the insane amount of second-hand smoke we each had to breath in during the game. Ruka kept saying "kick…ball." Hopefully one day he will play in the Bundesliga.

How can they be so beautiful and a little bit scary at the same time?!?! Lol. What great costumes! A little bit sweet and a little bit sour. Love it. And love all of you!
