She's so silly.  She copied letter for letter out of the St. Patrick's Day card from her Grandma Tu-Tu.  I love how she curled the "y" and "g" like in the card too.

Begin: January 12:

Mason= 164 lbs.

Erika=118 lbs.

March 12: Mason=175 lbs. and Erika=113 lbs.

We are gradually making progress on our new year's goals. We are now two months into our programs and can see some results. We still have quite a ways to go but it has been fun so far. Erika is already stronger than she has ever been but losing fat and Mason is heavier than he has been in six years and tied his best benchpress of 305lbs. again. We are pretty sick of chicken breast and tuna fish but it has felt pretty good to push ourselves, hopefully we can continue since this is almost the midpoint for our goals.

Skate Park

Yesterday we went to the little skate park by our house.  Miya and Emi like to pretend to give trophies out to the best skaters.  Anyways, I was trying new settings with my camera.

Hostel Night With my Girlfriends

Friday night 2 of my girlfriends and I stayed at Point Montara Lighthouse for a quick girl's getaway.

This is the small little room we shared...I got the top bunk!

This is where we got dinner.  It was called Fog City Pizza and Indian Cuisine.

We got our food to go and ate while the sun set.

Then we sat in the communal kitchen and drank hot chocolate.  We stayed up till about 3 am talking girl talk.

The next morning we drove to Burlingame and did a little shopping down a cute little street.

Emi's first haircut

I've been debating on giving Emi a haircut because her hair is so thin, so this morning after I gave Miya a trim, I chopped Emi's hair. I kind of butchered it, but I still think it's cute.

We want to go to Hawaii!!!

Today out of the blue Emi said, "I want to go to Hawaii!"

Mason: "Why do you want to go to Hawaii?"

Emi:  "Because it's beautiful"
