Weekend with some ol' friends

TRAM and the families got together this weekend (this all started back in Hawaii before kids).  The boys stayed in SF for a night getaway while the wives and kids hung out at the Beesley's for dinner.
It's crazy to think that about 4 years ago we used to be able to get together and play Mafia and board games and have conversations without interruptions, but now look at these beautiful kids!

DA BOYZ!

Saxon, Ella, and Miya hugging good-bye.
It was fun!

Crazy Eyes Miya

One of the best things about being a mom is seeing my girls grow and learn new talents.  Here's a pic. and video footage of Miya's new talent...I like to call her "Crazy Eyes".

She's even practicing on the toilet!

We love the beach

It's always nice when the sun is out!  We took a little family trip to China beach again...(you're all probably sick of us posting our China beach trips, but the weather finally was nice enough to layout and get some sun.
The girls were crazy enough to play in the water...it was freezing!

Miya was trying to pick up all the big rocks on the beach.

Emi was playing in the sand pretending to cook us dinner.

It's sometimes fun to get our hands dirty.

Uncle Matt Visits

We had a lot of fun with uncle matt this weekend.  A few snapshots of some of our good times. I will let you fill you in the captions as to what we were doing. It was a great visit though, especially me and matt's laptimes in the pool at Berkeley.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
and Happy Birthday Grandpa Boyd!
Thank you Grandma Tu-Tu for the cute St. Patty's Day head bands.

Miya wrote you all a little message (in pink) on the white board.
She's so silly.  She copied letter for letter out of the St. Patrick's Day card from her Grandma Tu-Tu.  I love how she curled the "y" and "g" like in the card too.

Happy 28th Birthday Mase!

It's my sexy man's birthday!  Happy Birthday Love!

The big (scantily clad) post of progress!

Begin: January 12:
Mason= 164 lbs.
Erika=118 lbs.
March 12: Mason=175 lbs. and Erika=113 lbs.

We are gradually making progress on our new year's goals. We are now two months into our programs and can see some results. We still have quite a ways to go but it has been fun so far. Erika is already stronger than she has ever been but losing fat and Mason is heavier than he has been in six years and tied his best benchpress of 305lbs. again. We are pretty sick of chicken breast and tuna fish but it has felt pretty good to push ourselves, hopefully we can continue since this is almost the midpoint for our goals.
