Thankful

This week was filled with new experiences for our little family here in Berlin.  One of them being Ruka breaking his arm.  He fell off a chair and broke both the Ulna and Radius bones at his wrist.  We didn't even realize that it was broken because it wasn't swollen (hard to tell with his chubby wrists) or bruised, but he was fussier then normal.  So, after a couple of hours Mason finally decided to take him to the hospital and sure enough, it was broken.  He acted totally fine and happy up until he had to get the x-ray and cast put on.  Then he screamed and cried into Mason's shoulder trying to pull away (hence the large and not so pretty cast).  It's been an adventure getting him to sleep through the night since then, but it's definitely not keeping him from being crazy happy little Ruka.  I so grateful that my little man is fine and for my big man for taking Ruka to the Hospital.  I just have too many things to be grateful for during this Thanksgiving week.  Thank YOU!

LOL! Yes, yes, I remember how the pilgrims and the Indians lived it up in Berlin circa 1670, I believe. This looks so fun! I love how creative you guys always are with your feastings. Looks like Miya's friend had a wonderful introduction to the Thanksgiving Feast. And we are so grateful that Ruka is the tough little man that he is! He is still the cutest little man in all Germany! And the girls are really growing up beautiful inside and out. Love and Miss you guys.
